Clifford Patrick Buellesfeld

Clifford Patrick Buellesfeld was the oldest son of Helen (Hein) Buellesfeld and Louis Buellesfeld born March 17, 1941 in the family home in Blackwell, OK. Clifford was one of five children. He went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 20, 2024 while residing at Hillcrest Manor in Blackwell, Ok.

He attended a Catholic Elementary school, Lovett Junior High in Blackwell and was a member of the Blackwell High School graduating class of 1959. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1960 and was honorably discharged after seven years of active and reserve service.

Cliff drove the delivery van for the Blackwell Laundry for more than 20 years. During that time, he met and married Dorothy Parr in Blackwell on November 13, 1980.

Clifford, in 1986, began working beside his brother Rick at Baxa Patterns for three years and then at Sooner State Pattern Works for an additional 33 years building some of the most intricate handmade wood and plastic patterns for customers around the world, retiring in 2022. In addition, Clifford was active in the service to his community. He was also a member of the Kay County Sheriff’s Office Reserve for many years and a storm spotter for the Kay County Emergency Management. In 2013 he was recognized by the US Department of Commerce, National Weather Service Cooperative for completion of 40 years as he collected and submitted daily data.

Surviving siblings include Thelma Huster of Newkirk and Rick Buellesfeld of Blackwell, his wife Dorothy along with many nieces and nephews.

Proceeding him in death were sisters, Twila Parr-Bell in 2001 and Jane Terrell-Kivett in 2023 and their parents; Louis in 1996 and Helen in 2012.

A rosary service will be held Tuesday at 7:00 p.m., July 23rd at Roberts and Son Funeral Home Chapel, 120 West Padon Avenue in Blackwell, OK. The funeral will be held at St Josephs Catholic Church located at 3rd and Bridge on Wednesday, July 24 at 10:00 a.m.

Casket bearers will be Richard Buellesfeld, Roger Meyer, Randy Buellesfeld, Joby Parr, Travis Hobaugh and Curtis Parr.
