Blackwell Police investigating "suspicious death"
UPDATE: DEATH INVESTIGATION
The Blackwell Police Department have just confirmed that the public is not at any risk following a call Thursday night that lead police to an unresponsive male in his 40's.
The death was labeled "suspicious in nature" and is currently under investigation.

Blackwell Police Department received a call on March 9 for an unresponsive male at 218 east Kansas Avenue.
Blackwell Police and Fire responded and found a 44 year old male deceased.
Interim Chief of Police Cory Ingram told the Journal-Tribune that the death is "suspicious in nature."
Blackwell Police are currently working the Oklahoma State Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the cause of death.
