Blackwell Prom: What time is the Grand March and where?

One of Blackwell’s most talked about events, Blackwell High School’s Prom, will be held next Saturday April 26 at the newly renovated Blackwell High School with After-Prom being held at the Wild Wood event center in Newkirk. 

The Prom Grand March, where students will make their starry arrivals in their nice cars, tractors, horses, and who-knows what else to make the walk into the high school will begin at 6:30 p.m. on the south-side of the high school. 

In previous years, the march has been held at the Top of Oklahoma Museum. 

Prom will begin at 7 p.m. and at 10 p.m. the students will be bussed to Newkirk for After-Prom, which will last until 2 a.m. 

Parents who wish to volunteer to assist with chaperoning After-Prom should call the Blackwell High School at 363-3553.
