Lucas Lanes’ Chris Lucas to Be Inducted into Oklahoma USBC Hall of Fame
June 26, 2026
A longtime fixture in Oklahoma bowling and owner of Blackwell's Lucas Lanes, Chris Lucas will be recognized this summer with one of the sport's highest honors.
Lucas has been selected for induction into the Oklahoma United States Bowling Congress (USBC) Hall of Fame as part of the organization's 2026 Hall of Fame Class.
The induction ceremony will take place during the 2026 Oklahoma USBC State Jamboree on July 25 at The Property Event Center in Broken Arrow.
Lucas will be inducted in the Superior Skill category alongside David McCulley. Marcia Davis will be inducted in the Meritorious Service category.
The annual jamboree will begin with a bowling tournament at 9 a.m. at Broken Arrow Lanes, located at 4701 S. Elm Place. The tournament will feature singles competition, a no-peek format and both adult and youth divisions.
Activities will then move to The Property Event Center, where the Oklahoma USBC Annual Meeting will be held at 1 p.m. A social hour is scheduled for 5 p.m., followed by the Hall of Fame and Awards Dinner at 6 p.m.
Tickets for the banquet are $40 each and must be purchased online through the Oklahoma USBC website. The dinner will be catered by Ludger's Catering and Events.
For Blackwell residents and area bowlers, Lucas' induction represents a significant achievement and recognition of decades of dedication to the sport. Through Lucas Lanes, he has helped provide generations of local bowlers with opportunities to compete, learn and enjoy the game.
The Oklahoma USBC Hall of Fame honors individuals who have made exceptional contributions to bowling in Oklahoma, whether through competitive excellence or service to the sport.
Community members wishing to attend the Hall of Fame ceremony and support Lucas can find ticket information through the Oklahoma USBC State Jamboree registration page.
The Hall of Fame induction will officially recognize Lucas among the state's most accomplished and influential bowling figures.
